Katy Staikin

Katy Staikin brings over eight years of clinical research experience to her role as Clinical Research Project Manager at the Toronto Immune and Digestive Health Institute. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2013) and a Master of Science in Life Sciences from the Weizmann Institute of Science (2015).

 

Katy’s expertise lies in early-stage clinical trials, from feasibility through phase II, with experience spanning multiple therapeutic areas. She has primarily worked within sponsor organizations conducting in-house trials, gaining direct experience in protocol development, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

At TIDHI, she brings this background to support the execution of investigator-initiated studies, optimize workflows, and uphold high standards of quality and regulatory compliance. She is particularly passionate about advancing research in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), driven by a strong interest in improving care for patients living with complex, chronic conditions.
