Dr. Deepti Chopra

Dr. Deepti Chopra MD FRCPC is a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certified gastroenterologist at Joseph Brant Hospital, with special interest in the care of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients. She completed medical school and internal medicine residency at Queen’s University, and subsequent gastroenterology training at McMaster University. She has also completed a fellowship in IBD at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, and was the recipient of the Ogden-Goldstein Advanced IBD Fellowship Award.

Dr. Chopra has authored several peer-reviewed articles and presented at many national and international conferences. She is actively involved in teaching trainees at her hospital. She is passionate about caring for IBD patients and looks forward to serving the TIDHI community.
