
Ajani Jeyakumar
Ajani Jeyakumar, HBSc, BScN, RN brings over a decade of clinical and research experience to her role as Clinical Operations Manager at the Toronto Immune and Digestive Health Institute. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Nipissing University in 2019. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Health Administration at the University of Toronto to further her commitment to advancing patient outcomes through innovation, collaboration, and system-level leadership.
At TIDHI, Ajani has been instrumental in building the institute from its early stages into a dynamic organization that delivers comprehensive gastroenterology care and clinical research program. She has led the development and implementation of outpatient and endoscopy services, ancillary health programs, and clinical leadership initiatives. Under her leadership, TIDHI has expanded its clinical operations and clinical research portfolio. Drawing on her background as a nurse caring for complex IBD and pregnant IBD patients, Ajani brings a unique patient-centered perspective that strengthens the institute’s care model.
Her expertise spans strategic program management, clinical operations, and health system collaboration. With a calm and inclusive leadership style, a focus on continuous improvement, and a strong foundation in both research and clinical practice, Ajani is committed to advancing TIDHI’s growth nationally and internationally, while ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and patient-centered care.
