Jessica Diener
(She/Her/Hers)

Jessica is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She completed a Master's of Educational Counselling at the University of Ottawa and has extensive experience supporting people with depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and the social and emotional effects of illness. Jessica also completed a Master's of Health Studies at Queen's University where she studied the lived experiences of people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and facilitated therapeutic programs for those living with chronic illness and pain.

Life can be challenging, especially with a chronic condition. We navigate a world that isn't always understanding of or compassionate towards the experience of illness and its effects on our plans, relationships, and sense of self. Jessica is passionate about creating warm and supportive spaces to help people make sense of their experiences and realize their coping skills and resilience. She employs an integrative approach that draws from Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies to meet people's needs, support their goals, and help them work towards wellness.
